2022 Florence Gouthro Memorial Volunteer of the Year Recipient: KENNEDY TUPPER

The Florence Gouthro Memorial Award is presented to a volunteer who exemplifies the true spirit of volunteerism. We are pleased to announce that Kennedy Tupper has been chosen as the Town of Trenton Volunteer of the Year for 2022!

Kennedy has dedicated herself to helping others. For the past 3 years she has been devoted to the Trenton Fire Department where she is a volunteer firefighter and to Pictou County Volunteer Ground Search and Rescue. Kennedy even recently took on the role of Vice President for the Pictou County Volunteer Search and Rescue team. There’s not much that brings Kennedy more joy and pride than getting to be a member of Trenton Fire Department. She graciously gives up so much of her time and energy to help with anything and everything the Trenton Fire Department does. Whether it be fundraising events, fire prevention events, meetings, training calls, or other community events puts on by the fire department for the citizens of Trenton, Kennedy never fails to show up and give it her all. In addition to her volunteer efforts with TFD and PCVGSAR Kennedy also volunteers for many other events and organizations in the Town of Trenton. Thank you Kennedy for all of your hard work and dedication to our community!

Congratulations to all of our fantastic nominees this year & thank you for everything you do!
