Emergency Concerns

Please note, this submission form should not be used in emergency situations as it may not be received by staff immediately. Please follow the steps below if your concern falls under any of the following:

  • PUBLIC WORKS / WATER EMERGENCIES (including After Hours):
    To report Public Works Emergencies, including but not limited to emergencies related to wastewater and storm water systems, (other examples: water line breaks, leaking water meters, etc.), please contact the Public Works Superintendent, Darryl Marcott at 902-752-6907.

  • 911 EMERGENCIES:
    Call 911 if your health, safety or property is threatened and you need help right away from emergency services (Police, Fire, Ambulance).

  • NGRP NON-EMERGENCY LINE:
    If you witness/suspect suspicious or unlawful activity in the Town, please call the New Glasgow Regional Police's Non-Emergency Line at 902-752-1941.

    Examples of non-emergencies include: Parking complaints, noise complaints (music, dogs barking), minor thefts such as a stolen bicycle or car break-in, following up with police on a file, requests or complaints about car towing and witnessing suspicious or unlawful activity that is not considered an emergency situation.
